Oberwerth Q2 Bag

This is a not inexpensive bag but then it's meant to be home to a not inexpensive camera. Furthermore, it's as excellent on the bag front as the Q2 is on the camera front. It's made of thick but supple leather with a delightful peach-fuzz surface (if peaches were black). The padding is not as thick as in, say, a Billingham, but it doesn't need to be as the thick leather exterior provides more protection than canvas. I'll have no qualms about tossing the bag into my car when going out and about. Naturally, the Q2 fits perfectly into the Oberwerth. I have positioned the divider roughly as pictured on the web page here, although the photo is a bit disingenuous: what about the camera's strap? My solution is to curl that down into the small space where the picture shows the battery charger and grab the strap as a way of easing the Q2 neatly and safely out of the bag. Finally, the closures: these are wonderful (and will provide hours of fun into the bargain. I'll only say that they are the Leica of closures – buy the bag to find out why.)
