COVID-19 Pandemic

Please rest assured that the team here at Leica Store Manchester are taking the COVID-19 outbreak very seriously and it is our first priority to follow the advice and protocols issued by the UK Government and World Health Organisation.

Since the 24th March, we have been extremely fortunate that we have been able to continue operating our store remotely. Our website has seen record months during this period and we are incredibly thankful for the support and well wishes we have received. Photography has helped many of us get through this difficult time and we have loved seeing the results that many have been sending us. 

From the 15th June, UK Government has advised that we can reopen, of course with strict social distancing measures. This is going to mean different things to every type of retail environment.

We feel that the best way to uphold the highest standards to protect both our customers and our team is to operate an appointment system for store visits. Please see our website for further details and to book a time slot.

Our website www.leicastoremanchester.com will operate as normal. For in-stock items, we do not anticipate any challenges around our standard delivery windows. Stock availability on our website is live. For items that are back-ordered or are out of stock please contact us before placing an order as our suppliers are operating differently.

For same day UK shipping and international shipping, we have been instructed by DHL that we must ship before 13:00 for Next Day Delivery. For smaller items and items without batteries our usual 16:00 guarantee still applies.

We can also organise complimentary collections for any part exchanges with DHL, again please contact us for more information.

All UK Leica Store activities, events and Leica Akademie’s are cancelled for the foreseeable future.
