Perfect fit - also including the lens hood and cap attached. I can also place the spare battery behind the SD card storage pocket. The velcro is strong. I do not think it would accommodate the finger loop attachment. The case would protect the camera from scratches; it is so compact that you can put it in your back/jacket pocket when not in use.
