The Leica M adapter ring enables the Leica Universal Polarizer to be used on Leica M-lens.

Selected adapter rings features a hollowed out core, viewing through the rangefinder is still possible.  Using the adapter allows for polarizing effect to be judged directly through the viewfinder.
